General Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions regulate the rights and obligations between NALA Reality s.r.o., Alžbetina 41, 040 01 Košice, ID No.: 54668999 and the customer, the process of issuing cards, their use, purchase of services in the online store, transport by ski lifts and the use of ski slopes in the SKI MLYNKY resort.

During the passage through the turnstile, a photo of the person using the ski pass is taken. These photographs are used for control purposes.

By purchasing a ski pass, the customer agrees to the use of his/her personal photo for control purposes and its storage in the control system for the period of validity of the authorisations indicated on the ticket.

The deposit for the chip card is 2 €. The deposit will not be refunded to the visitor in case of loss or damage of the smart card.

  • The 3-hour skipass is non-transferable and valid for 3 consecutive hours from the first time you pass through the turnstile. The skipass is valid for day skiing only.
  • The 4-hour skipass is non-transferable and valid for 4 consecutive hours from the first time you pass through the turnstile. The skipass is valid for day skiing only.
  • The day skipass is non-transferable and valid for 1 day from the first time you pass through the turnstile. The skipass is valid for day skiing only.
  • The 2-day skipass can be used for 2 days at any time until the end of the season. The skipass is not valid for night skiing. The skipass is non-transferable.
  • The 3-day skipass can be used for 3 days at any time until the end of the season. The skipass is not valid for night skiing. The skipass is non-transferable.
  • The 4-day skipass can be used for 4 days at any time until the end of the season. The skipass is not valid for night skiing. The skipass is non-transferable.
  • The 5-day skipass can be used for 5 days at any time until the end of the season. The skipass is not valid for night skiing. The skipass is non-transferable.
  • The 6-day skipass can be used for 6 days at any time until the end of the season. The skipass is not valid for night skiing. The skipass is non-transferable.
  • The 7-day skipass can be used for 7 days at any time until the end of the season. The skipass is not valid for night skiing. The skipass is non-transferable.
  • The 2-hour evening skipass is valid for 2 consecutive hours from the first time you pass through the turnstile. Skipass valid for night skiing only.
  • Full evening skipass is valid from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Skipass is valid for evening skiing only.
  • FAMILY SKIPPASSES – the condition of sale is the identical surnames and identical residence of all family members, presentation of parents’ IDs and children’s insurance cards. Children must meet the child discount requirement – age up to 16 years.

ALL SKIPASSES except the point are NON-REPLACEABLE.

Use only skipasses purchased at the resort’s official sales points for transport. Skipasses purchased outside of the points of sale are invalid and will be LOCKED.

In case of misuse of the skipass, the operator reserves the right to withdraw it WITHOUT REFUND.

The following applies for evening operation: full evening skipass and 2-hour evening skipass.

No refunds will be given for lost or forgotten skipass.

No additional replacement, extension or change of skipass validity is possible.

In the event of bad weather, interrupted operation, avalanche danger or blocked slopes, it is at the operator’s discretion whether and how much to refund the skipass. No refund will be given for early departure from the resort.

Clients who are caught without a skipass or with an invalid skipass must pay a fine equal to the value of the day pass with a 100% surcharge.

ATTENTION: A doctor’s note is required for reimbursement of travel expenses after an accident. The amount reimbursed corresponds to the period from the moment of the accident to the end of the validity of the ski pass in question. Cash refunds are only granted for multi-day skipasses.

The validity of all skipasses starts with the first pass through the turnstile.

With the introduction of the SKIDATA contactless control system, all skipasses are issued on a chip card. The deposit for the chip card is EUR 2. Chip cards can be returned after the end of the opening hours at the resort ticket office or at the chip card machine The chip card deposit will only be refunded for UNEXPLODED and fully FUNCTIONAL chip cards.

ATTENTION! from 16:00 to 8:30 the RIDES are CLOSED! There is a risk of injury from snow cannon cables and from machines grooming the slopes, especially winches with unwound rope! (If there is night skiing on the slopes, entry is permitted between 17:00 and
21:00).

The passenger is obliged to comply with the conditions of the transport regulations, the price list, the White Code and to respect the instructions of the authorised person of the operator. The transport contract is concluded if the passenger exercises his/her right to be transported on the basis of the purchased ticket by boarding the transport facility or entering the boarding or alighting area – accessible only with a valid travel document. By entering into such a contract, the subscriber acknowledges that he has read the conditions of carriage, the price list and the White Codex.

Please also keep an eye on the current announcements at the skipass sales points and at the boarding facilities in the resort. The operator reserves the right to change prices.

The operator also reserves the right to change the information in the price list.

Children under 16 years of age are obliged to protect their head with a properly fitted safety helmet.

The CHILDREN tariff applies to children from 111cm to 140cm.

The JUNIOR tariff is valid from 141cm to 18 years of age for holders of a disabled person’s card (disabled person’s card must be presented at the ticket office).

When buying skipasses in the JUNIOR tariff, it is necessary to show the appropriate ID and insurance card, ID card, passport or other document without being asked.

When using discounted tickets or ski passes issued in the name and photo, it is necessary to show a valid ID card when asked by the transport operator at the resort. Skipasses used by a person other than the owner will be withdrawn from the client and no refund will be given.

In case of misuse of a ski pass – use of a non-transferable skipass by another person and use of a children’s or junior ski pass by an adult, the operator is entitled to block the skipass without the customer being entitled to a refund of the unused value of the skipass.

Group discount 10% – a group is defined as a group of at least 15 persons with the same type of skipass. A name list of the group members, stamp, signature is required. Group tickets are bought and paid for by one person (group leader).

In case of misuse of the discounted ticket, the operator reserves the right to withdraw it without compensation.

Discounts are NOT accumulated!

Complaints

In case of purchase of any ski passes/tickets for ski lifts and cableways offered in the online shop at www.skimlynky.eu, the concluded contract is not covered by Act No. 102/2014 Coll. on consumer protection in the sale or provision of services under a distance contract or a contract concluded away from the seller’s business premises, as amended.

Poor skiing and atmospheric conditions as well as continuous reduced frequency/speed on the lifts and cable cars do not constitute grounds for a partial refund of the purchased ski pass. In the event of a power outage or technical failure of more than 30 minutes, customers will be refunded an aliquot part of the fare or given a discount on the next ski pass.

In the event of a power failure or adverse weather conditions preventing the operation of all transport facilities, the operator may issue replacement ski passes for any other date in the season. No financial compensation will be provided.

In the event that any of the facilities (cable car, ski lift) are out of operation, no replacement ski pass or financial compensation will be provided.

If the customer subjectively assesses the ski slope as unsuitable for skiing, no replacement ski pass or financial compensation will be provided.

The visitor is not entitled to a refund or extension of the skipass in the event of failure to use all days and unjustified failure to collect the skipass.

The customer is not entitled to an additional exchange, extension or change of the validity of the skipass.

In case of loss, deterioration or forgetting of the skipass, no compensation will be given to the customer.

A visitor who is caught without a skipass shall pay the operator damages in the amount of the price of a day skipass according to the valid price list + a fine of 100% of the price of the type of skipass.

A visitor who is caught with an invalid skipass or with a skipass issued to another person will have the ski pass withdrawn and will be obliged to pay the operator damages in the amount of the price of the type of skipass according to the valid price list + a fine of 100% of the price of the type of skipass.

In the event of an accident on the slope, it is necessary to submit a certificate from the attending physician stating the patient’s incapacity for work. The skier is obliged to report any accident to the operator at the Ski Mlynky ticket office. Refunds for unused skiing days are provided ONLY for multi-day ski passes (aliquot part). If the injured customer has purchased a 4-hour, 1-day or evening skipass, no financial refund will be provided.

If the ski equipment is damaged off-piste, we will not accept a claim.

The place to make a claim is the Ski Mlynky Gugel SHOP.

In order to make any claim for financial compensation for skipasses, it is necessary to present a receipt from the ticket office for the purchase of the skipass.

By purchasing a ski pass, the customer undertakes to comply with the applicable Operating Regulations and the White Codex (i.e. the rules of movement and behaviour on the slope).


By purchasing and paying for the ski pass, the skipass holder acknowledges that the personal data provided when purchasing the ski pass is processed in accordance with Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

These general terms and conditions come into force and effect on 20.12.2018 and are valid and effective throughout the winter ski season 2023/2024. These general terms and conditions apply to the provision of services – the use of ski lifts and ski slopes in the resort Ski Gugel Závažná Poruba.
